“Everyday Jesus with Bonnie G” is written and hosted by Bonnie C. Gates. Bonnie is a native of Arizona and lives in the Phoenix metropolitan area. An Accountant by profession, Bonnie also has a passion for writing and helping those in need. She has been a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, Arizona for 17 years where she has served as Council Treasurer and the leader of the church’s Community Outreach Ministry.
Bonnie has seen her share of trials and tribulations in her life that have had lasting and profound impact on her life. The purpose and intent of “Everyday Jesus with Bonnie G” is to share life stories, lessons and real world events that show how God is alive and working among us for the good. By looking at scripture, our “handbook for life”, she brings to light how scripture gives us guidance, perseverance and hope when faced with the challenges life brings to our doorsteps. Her perspective comes from that of an ordinary, imperfect and flawed child of God that strives to put Jesus and scripture lessons into her life every day.
When Bonnie is not busy blogging or doing her debits and credits, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, fishing, scrapbooking and spending time with her friends and furry children. Bonnie has been married to her soul mate Kelly for 31 years. He remains her constant strength and stay in her life and is one of the strongest Christian gentlemen she has ever known. They share their home with two dogs, four cats and six fish.
